For over 45 years,

the Lorton Art Program has brought

visual arts instruction and arts exposure

to inmates at the DC Detention Center

and the former DC - Lorton prison complex.

In addition the LAP program continues

to exhibit participant artwork in a variety of venues in Washington, DC,

as well as nationally and internationally.
